It's actually very easy to learn to fly, especially if you've flown the 2-channels. It's also very fun, as you can control it quite well, and it's very stable. Many 3-channel helis cost much more, but for the money, I'm happy with this. And, my toddler just loves watching it fly around, which makes me even happier. I only wish it would fly longer on a charge. I get about 5-7 minutes of continuous flight on a full charge, which is at the low end of their claims. Maybe my battery isn't quite up to snuff. Great step up from the simpler 2-channel models
